Relocation and travel to unanticipated locations within the USA possible.
Or suitable equivalent qualifications. Job entails and requires experience in: Oracle database administration; data modeling; database design, development, and implementation; executing database backup and recovery policies; planning disaster recovery strategy; defining and enforcing architectural standards for the database development process; database security, availability, replication, and storage; performance tuning; optimizing SQL and PL/SQL code; designing applications using Oracle Forms and Reports; and troubleshooting Oracle database issues. Relocation within the USA possible.
Job entails and requires experience in: SUN Solaris/UNIX administration; installation, configuration, and maintenance of NFS, NIS, sendmail/SMTP, DNS, Apache Web Servers, Firewalls, TCP/IP, and SNMP; and scripting in Shell and Perl.
